Here’s how to stop Facebook from accessing your microphone and controlling targeted ads on Android and Apple devices:

For Android:

• Open Settings: Tap the gear icon on your home screen.

• Go to Apps & Notifications: Scroll down and select “Apps & Notifications.”

• Select Facebook: Find and tap on “Facebook” from the list of apps.

• Select Permissions: Tap on “Permissions.”

• Toggle Microphone to “Off”: Find “Microphone” and switch it off.

• Open Facebook App: Go back to your home screen and open the Facebook app.

• Go to Settings & Privacy: Tap the three horizontal lines (menu) at the top right, then scroll down and tap “Settings & Privacy.”

• Select Ad Preferences: Tap on “Ad Preferences.”

• Turn Off Personalized Ads: Switch off the option for personalized ads.

For Apple :

• Open Settings: Tap the gear icon on your home screen.

• Scroll to Facebook: Scroll down until you find “Facebook” and tap on it.

• Tap Microphone: Tap on “Microphone.”

• Turn it Off: Switch the microphone off.

• Go to Settings & Privacy in Facebook: Open the Facebook app, tap the three horizontal lines (menu) at the bottom right, then scroll down and tap “Settings & Privacy.”

• Select Ad Preferences: Tap on “Ad Preferences.”

• Adjust Ad Settings: Turn off personalized ads.
